Veritas' Worldwide Sales and Marketing team propels company growth by driving all aspects of sales and marketing, including direct and channel sales, global sales enablement and all marketing functions.
**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for end user renewals sales working in partnership with our resellers and distribution partners across VERITAS' offerings to existing customers.- Generating revenue through meeting and exceeding sales retention quotas- Retain renewals and generate new revenue in large enterprise accounts- Manage quote to order process- Close business that is complex in nature and often contractual- Create urgency and follow Veritas policies and procedures accurately- Identify and communicate risk within the business- Collaborate with various organizations both internal and external including Veritas Partners, Distributors, numerous departments within Veritas- Ensuring customer satisfaction and support issues are escalated to the appropriate department- Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management
**Experience**:
- Proven track record in Renewal/Inside sales capacity within high-tech industry- Demonstrable over achievement in all areas - personal, quota and development.- Further education desired and/ relevant industry experience- Strong communication skills, both written and oral- Database Experience, Oracle Financial Preferred- Ability to handle multiple tasks in an efficient and professional manner- Excellent decision-making skills with ability to identify, prioritize and show good judgment when necessary- Able to work independently with the ability to meet deadlines and display a high degree of accuracy
