Diplomatik is looking for Turf Supervisor based in Perth for a Temp to Perm postion.
QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATION AND LICENCES
* Certificate lll in Horticulture
* Certificate III in Supervision or Certificate IV in Frontline Management (Desirable)
* 'C' class drivers licence (Western Australia)
* WHS General Induction for Construction (White Card)
* Senior First Aid Certificate
* Advanced Traffic Management Certificate (including stop/go accreditation)
* Pest Management Technician licence
* Licences and training to operate all site machinery.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Sound literacy and numeracy skills.
* Able to delegate information, direct, organize and supervise staff effectively and efficiently.
* Knowledge of Work Health and Safety and regulations and ability to work and direct staff in accordance with Work Health and Safety industry obligations.
* Extensive knowledge of horticultural and grounds maintenance practices.
* Able to work in either hot or inclement outdoor conditions.
EXPERIENCE
* Experience in supervising a team of grounds maintenance personnel.
* Extensive experience in the maintenance and safe operation of various Parks and Gardens related plant and equipment.
* Extensive experience in parks and gardens maintenance activities.
* Extensive experience in dealing with the public in a conducive manner.
