Recycling & Resource Recovery Industry
We are seeking a highly capable and hands-on Office Supervisor to take ownership of day-to-day office operations within a busy recycling and resource recovery facility.
This is a newly created position suited to a confident all-rounder who thrives in a fast-paced, operational environment and can step in, take control, and keep everything running smoothly.
About the Role
Reporting directly to senior management, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the office while supporting a team of approximately 30 staff. You will directly supervise 7-8 team members and work closely with the Operations Supervisor and Maintenance Manager to ensure seamless coordination between office and site operations.
This role requires someone who can maintain organisation, provide direction, and be a dependable go-to person in a dynamic, hands-on industry.
What you'll do
Run the office day-to-day operations in a busy recycling facility
* Manage and process timesheets and payroll (including site-based staff)
* Handle accounts receivable and payable
* Coordinate staff inductions and onboarding, including site requirements
* Support HR functions, employee relations, compliance, workers' compensation claims and return-to-work processes
* Manage & develop Work Health & Safety (WHS) processes and documentation
* Supervise and support a small admin team (7-8 staff)
* Work closely with Operations Supervisor and Maintenance Manager to support site needs
* Identify issues quickly and implement practical, no-fuss solutions

What's on Offer
* Salary up to $120,000 + superannuation (depending on experience)
* Full-time role, Monday to Friday (7:00/8:00 am - 5:00 pm)
