Recruitment Executive | Delivering High-Calibre Technical & Engineering Talent
The Company
Our client is a nationally recognised engineering consultancy known for its creativity, technical excellence, and people‑first culture. With a reputation for pushing boundaries and delivering smart, sustainable solutions, they foster a collaborative workplace where curiosity is encouraged and ideas are valued. Their Asset Advisory Services team is growing, and they’re looking for someone who’s ready to dive deeper into the world of structural forensics.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a specialist team focused on forensic investigations and asset lifecycle performance. You’ll work alongside a close‑knit group of four engineers with deep expertise in testing and diagnostics, providing technical insights and strategic advice to clients across infrastructure and the built environment.
The role blends technical analysis with business consulting, making it ideal for someone who’s previously worked on forensic investigations as part of a broader role and is now ready to specialise. You’ll be supported by a team that values knowledge‑sharing and innovation, and while the preference is for in‑office work, there is flexibility around school drop‑offs and family commitments.
About You
You’re a curious and methodical engineer who thrives on solving complex problems. You have a knack for writing clear, structured reports and enjoy diving into the details. You’re ready to take ownership of your work, contribute to a high‑performing team, and build strong relationships with clients.
You’ll also bring:
- A degree in Structural Engineering
- RPEQ or eligibility to obtain it
- Previous exposure to elements of structural forensic investigations
- Excellent written communication skills with a structured and methodical writing style
- A collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in asset performance and lifecycle strategy
- Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for client engagement and building lasting professional relationships
Why Apply?
This is your chance to join a creative and forward‑thinking consultancy that values flexibility, innovation, and professional growth. You’ll enjoy:
- A supportive team environment with deep technical expertise
- Flexibility around school drop‑offs, pick‑ups, and work hours
- A choice of working from the Gold Coast or Brisbane office
- The opportunity to specialise in structural forensics and grow your consulting career
