The Team:
Consisting of Nurse Unit Managers, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Registered Nurses, and Enrolled Nurses across multiple sites in North West Tasmania, providing high-level, evidence-based nursing care within the specialty of Complex Wound Management.
The Role:
Within a primary health framework and in accordance with Agency policy and procedures, the Nurse Practitioner - Wound Care is responsible for clinical leadership in developing, providing, and evaluating services to ensure optimal patient, client, family, and community outcomes.
The Nurse Practitioner Wound Care will offer clinical and professional leadership as an expert in the field, undertake comprehensive health assessments, and collaborate with other healthcare team members to plan, implement, and evaluate care, supporting best practices and maximizing client outcomes.

Details of Appointment:
Permanent, full-time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight. Hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. The selection process may be used to fill similar vacancies for twelve months from the date of publication.
Salary:
$144,146 per annum (Pro rata), with an additional 11.5% superannuation contribution. Salary in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023. Post Graduate Allowance of up to 7.5% may be available based on qualifications.
