Personal Care Assistant
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care to our residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
* Main Responsibilities:
* Deliver personalized support services that cater to the unique needs and preferences of our residents.
* Ensure accurate records of resident health and wellbeing are maintained, reporting any changes or incidents to RNs in a timely manner.
* Respect and uphold the rights to dignity, privacy, and confidentiality of our residents at all times.
* Foster collaborative working relationships with the care team to deliver holistic care services that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
* Key Requirements:
* A Certificate III or Certificate IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification is required.
* A minimum of 3 months' experience working as a PCA in residential aged care, home care, or disability services is essential.
* Flexibility and reliability to work required shifts, including overtime, is crucial.
* Effective communication skills to interact with residents, families, and staff members are necessary.
* A strong passion for working with the elderly and a commitment to delivering high-quality care is mandatory.
