Global have an exciting prospect forE&I; Technicians & Electricians to join our team.
This role is based on-site on the Santos Project, working a FIFO rotational roster (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off roster).
Working closely with our long-standing client, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of pipeline and lease construction projects across the Cooper Basin.Job DescriptionAbout the RoleASAP Start2:2 RosterAs an E&I; Tech, your key responsibilities will include:Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems (LV/HV) on fixed plant and process equipment on Oil & Gas infrastructures.Read and interpret electrical drawings, P&IDs; and loop diagrams.Perform glanding and termination of LV/HV cables in accordance with site and hazardous area requirements.Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on pumps, compressors, and other key process infrastructure.Assist with commissioning and shutdown activities in live plant environments.Ensure all ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans) and FICs (Field Inspection Checklists) are followed and correctly documented.Assist in compiling and reviewing E&I; MDRs (Manufacturing Data Reports).
Work closely with supervisors and QA teams to ensure compliance with client specifications and project standards.As anElectrician,your key responsibilities will include:Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, and related equipment.Perform preventive maintenance and inspections of electrical systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems and determine proper solutions.Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.Maintain documentation of all repairs, installations, and inspections.Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout YouMinimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in the Oil, Gas and Energy sector.Unrestricted Electrical Licence.Instrumentation qualifications (required cert 3 & 4 for E&I; Techs).
