What we're looking for

It's your life experience that counts in this job.
You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or hold Australian permanent residency.
You also need to hold an Australian driver's licence (minimum P2).
NEW $8,000 sign-on bonus
New prison officers at are now eligible for a bonus of up to $8,000.
Six months after commencing, you will receive a payment of $4,000.
Then, after one year's full-time employment, you will receive an additional payment of $4,000.

What's in it for you
Earn up to $91,202 with a base salary of $63,469 plus penalty rates and overtime

41 days comprehensive paid training (full time)
Complete a Certificate III in Correctional Practice (Adult Custodial) which, when completed, increases your base salary
Relocation assistance of up to $10,000 if you're moving from more than 100km away.
At present we are prioritising recruitment to the following locations:
Locations based in the Geelong Region, Ararat, Castlemaine, or surrounding areas, or
Candidates willing to relocate to one of these regions.
Financial relocation support of up to $10k is available.
