Overview
Three key areas are safety, service quality, customer experience, and productivity for your department. For our busy Delivery Stations, we're seeking an organized Manager to make a lasting impact. These fast‑moving facilities sit at the heart of Amazon's rapidly growing Operations network and manage the fast‑moving last‑mile operation—receiving, sorting, stowing, and shipping orders to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and oversee a crucial operational environment within Amazon's Delivery Station.
* Lead a team comprising Shift Managers and Shift Assistants, fostering healthy, positive working relationships.
* Collaborate with key business partners such as Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, ACES, and Engineering.
* Track and drive operational goals, metrics, and present findings to senior leadership.
* Review operational forecasts and determine productivity requirements.
* Manage a team to meet all building goals.
* Support all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for associates and delivery service providers.
* Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.
* Lead change at speed, adapt to sudden changes and growth according to operational necessities.
* Support and assign job duties to process assistants and delivery service providers.
* Track & monitor sorting operation and dispatch.
Basic Qualifications
* 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
* Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* 3+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or transportation logistics.
