About The Role
As a Lifestyle Support Worker/Supported Independent Living Lifestyle support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our consumers to live their best life—empowering individuals to build confidence, work towards their goals, improve their mental wellbeing, and connect with the community.
You will work one-on-one in the homes and communities of our consumers to support them to live as independently as possible. Selectability are currently seeking individuals interested in supported independent living roles. These shifts are predominantly night shifts and may vary from time to time.
Balancing work and personal commitments can be challenging. If you're pursuing further education or caring for loved ones during the day, the flexibility of night shifts can support your lifestyle.
You may work with consumers in their homes to carry out activities like cleaning, organizing, preparing healthy meals, or maintaining a yard. A key part of the role is supporting consumers to improve their confidence accessing the community and engaging in activities that help them achieve their goals. You will also provide transportation to and from activities such as shopping, gym, social events, and appointments.

You Will Also Need
* A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's license
* A registered, roadworthy, and fully comprehensive vehicle
* Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or ability to obtain)
* A Positive Notice Working with Children (blue card) (or ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You'
