Truck Driver
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Conduct vehicle pre-start checks
* Loading and unloading trailers
* Connecting and disconnecting trailers
* Transporting machinery and equipment between work sites
* Transporting soil and rock products between sites
* Follow strict workplace and safety procedures
Hours of work- Monday to Friday 07:00AM to 04:00PM. Some weekend and after hours work as required.
Requirements:
* Current MC Drivers Licence or equivalent (Essential)
* Experience in operating Side Tipper combinations (Highly regarded)
* Experience in operating a Front-End Loader (Highly regarded)
* Experience driving road-trains (Highly regarded)
* Experience in operating rear-tippers (Highly regarded)
* Experience driving on dirt/bush roads
* Forklift licence (highly regarded)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment commercial drivers medical & DAS
* Ability to travel as required by the business (required)
* Current first-aid certificate (or ability to obtain within 3 months of employment)- Required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
