We are seeking a Production Support Lead for our Data and Analytics team. The role is full-time, flexible, and based in Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane.
What we're looking for?
While not all boxes need to be ticked, we value your strengths, learning aspirations, and career ambitions. Ideally, you will have a consulting background and demonstrate passion for data analytics. Your responsibilities will include providing consultative support on data-driven projects in a fast-paced environment, such as:
* Establishing and optimizing processes for Level 3 production support
* Enhancing operational efficiencies to prevent and resolve incidents
* Leading the creation of runbooks and support documentation
* Building and leading an onshore support team focused on system availability, performance, and capacity, collaborating with other tech leads and support teams
* Defining support strategies for cloud systems (AWS), influencing system resiliency and scalability
* Identifying and addressing monitoring and alerting gaps, automating responses for system reliability
* Resolving critical service issues and developing automated solutions
* Participating in capacity planning, performance analysis, and system tuning
* Using monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk) to reduce outage detection time
* Having familiarity with application architectures, networking, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering concepts
* Automating routine tasks, addressing issues, and mitigating risks to system KPIs
* Demonstrating knowledge of networking principles, protocols, and load balancing
