In this role, you'll :
* Perform maintenance and manual labouring tasks using plant and equipment and powered and non-powered hand tools.
* Undertake road maintenance activities which may include, but not limited to, widening & barrier installs, enhanced road pavements, overtaking lanes and heavy patching works.
* Travel extensively throughout the region to attend worksites including attending call outs where required.
About you
You are a team-oriented worker who has an eye for detail and is used to working in similar environments.
You are a practical thinker, quick learner and great communicator who enjoys being physically active performing outdoor manual tasks involving the use of hand tools and equipment within a team setting.
You must hold the following tickets / Licence's.
* White Card
* Current driver's licence
Traffic Control tickets and Truck Licence(Medium Rigid)up to (Heavy Rigid) are preferred but not essential.
You must have previous experience as a Road Worker Grade 1- 3 level or related civil construction labouringexperience. Please refer to the position description below for more detail.
You will live within a 60 km radius from the Cooma works depot and are prepared to work outside normal working hours, attend callouts, travel across the district and work away from home when needed.
