Our client is an NFP organisation that ranks among Victoria's most prominent community health providers. They provide a wide range of comprehensive services for individuals of all ages and life stages. They are seeking an experienced Contracts Officer to assist with their project within their Procurement team.
The Role
Working under the Procurement, Quality & Risk Coordinator, your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with establishing and improving new processes and systems
2. Ensuring each service provider undergoes relevant checks, signs relevant agreements, and submits required documents.
3. Verifying all service agreements and compliance documents before services are delivered.
4. Addressing and resolving tickets from employees using the service management system.
5. Communicating with potential service providers regarding agreements and necessary documentation.
6. Managing executed contracts and documents using Cherwell and other systems.
7. Identifying areas where service needs are not being met due to limited or absent contracts.
8. Assisting in finding and onboarding service providers under the guidance of the Procurement, Quality & Risk Coordinator.
9. Generating and analysing reports to help management oversee service providers, regions, service types, financial spending, and other required reports.
10. Supporting in planning and implementing random audits of subcontracted providers.
11. Developing and updating procedural manuals for the role.
12. Managing the Contracts group email to address and update issues, requests, and tasks, and keeping stakeholders informed for timely outcomes.
About You
You must have:
13. Experience in Non-For-Profit environments
14. Experience working in Procurement or with Contracts
15. The ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively
16. Fantastic problem solving, analytical skills
17. Good communication both written and verbal
18. Exceptional attention to detail
19. The ability to start work immediately and the ability to potentially convert to a permanent contract
20. A current Police check (desirable not necessary)
21. A current Working with Children's check (desirable not necessary)
