Job Title: Procurement Coordinator
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Coordinator to join our team in Perth. As a key member of the Project Ceres team, you will be responsible for providing support to the Subcontracts Manager in the use of project procurement system tools (SAP, Felix, NPP). Your role will involve maintaining and tracking the Subcontract Action Register (SCAR) and Procurement Status Report (PSR), ensuring the team achieves project cost and schedule targets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Register and qualify subcontracts through Felix or NPP.
* Ensure the use of existing Master Services Agreement (MSA) providers for relevant Goods and Services and issue EOIs for new MSA.
* Assist with the project subcontracting strategy for assigned subcontracts.
* Support internal stakeholders with tendering, negotiation, and formation of assigned subcontracts.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years of experience as a commercial or contracts advisor on engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects, with direct experience managing subcontractors and suppliers.
* Knowledge of subcontracting processes, contract management, and procurement principles.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with subcontractors.
* Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Law, or Construction Management and Economics (CM&E).
