We are on the lookout for a highly motivated & experienced HSEQ Manager to join our team based at our Head Office in Wodonga, Victoria.

The Role
Reporting to the Company Directors, as the HSEQ Manager you will be responsible for the following duties:
* Manage our HSEQ systems in accordance with our company and various client requirements, including ongoing monitoring, control and reporting of actual performance.
* Implement and oversee project HSEQ systems and procedures in line with client and company requirements.
* Ensure ongoing compliance of our third-party accredited systems (Federal Safety Accreditation, ISO 45001, ISO 014001 and ISO 9001)
* Identify, develop & implement HSEQ initiatives to improve our HSEQ System
* Ensure all HSEQ requirements are delivered in line with regulatory and statutory requirements.
* Provide regular internal updates on company and projects HSEQ performance
* Develop relationships with clients, consultant's, suppliers and subcontractors to successfully achieve project HSEQ outcomes.
* Mentor and train staff on our HSEQ Systems and procedures and assist them to source information.
* Assist project teams in identifying HSEQ hazards and assessing and developing controls to eliminate or reduce these risks.
* Undertake regular HSEQ Audits on projects.
* Lead incident investigations (when necessary) and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Stopping, rejecting or quarantining unsafe work methods, work areas, materials, plant and equipment.
You will have
* A minimum of 5 years' experience as a HSEQ Manager working for a commercial builder, and experience with Federal Safety Accreditation will be highly regarded.
* Hold a valid driver's license and able to receive a Defence Security Clearance
* Hold a certificate or tertiary qualification in WHS/HSEQ, Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or trade.
* Competent in the Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to engage and influence at all levels.
* Travel including overnight stays will regularly be required as part of the role.
* A good sense of humour.
