About the role
MPR Welding is seeking an experienced Boilermaker/Welder to join our team in our Murray Bridge, SA location. This is a full-time permanent role, where you will play a key part in the manufacturing and fabrication processes within our busy workshop.
What you'll be doing
* Fabricating, assembling and fitting out of Transport equipment
* Performing welding, cutting, fitting and finishing work to a high standard
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and diagrams
* Ensuring work is completed within required timeframes and to quality standards
* Operating various hand and power tools related to the trade
* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
What we're looking for Qualified Boilermaker/Welder or 2nd-4th year Apprentice.
* Proven competence in MIG welding
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and sketches
* Strong knowledge of metal fabrication and assembly processes
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
* A current driver's licence and reliable transportation to the Mypolonga workshop
