• Lead and deliver creative projects in collaboration with the BMM Sub-Committee and team of volunteers.
• Oversee daily operations of the museum, including staff, contractor and volunteer coordination.

The Bendigo District RSL (BDRSL) is seeking a passionate and experienced Museum professional to join the team at the Bendigo Military Museum (BMM) on a part-time basis to cover a 12-month maternity leave position.The award-winning Bendigo Military Museum, housed in the iconic, heritage-listed Soldiers' Memorial Institute, was reimagined through a $5.1M redevelopment in 2018.
Built in 1921, the BMM remains a cornerstone for commemorating those from regional Victoria who served and is an essential part of the City of Greater Bendigo's cultural and historical fabric, regularly hosting school and tour groups, special events and temporary exhibitions.You'll play a vital role in preserving and promoting the rich military history of Central Victoria.
Working closely with the GM, BMM Chairperson, and key staff across functions, communications, and welfare, you will lead creative project development, provide administrative support, and oversee casual staff and volunteers within a nationally significant, award winning, heritage-listed museum.
