B&E Foods is a family-owned food service distributor with over 7 factories across Australia. We are a boning specialist and a respected wholesaler of quality food products. In SEQ, we deliver to customers in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and North NSW.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we are seeking a HR Assistant to join our team on a Full-time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
* Provide general administrative support to the HR team and assist across other functions as required
* HR administration including onboarding and offboarding, employee file management and updating employee information
* Provide payroll, risk & compliance support as required
* Coordinate end to end recruitment across all departments & sites including placement of ads, screening and shortlisting applicants, scheduling trials/ interviews and liaising with the relevant Hiring Manager to confirm interview details
* Assist with the preparation of employment contracts, following up with candidates to obtain pre-employment documents and ensure assist with onboarding/ induction of new hires
* Ensure HR systems and processes comply with current legislation, regulations, and company standards.
To succeed in this role, you are someone who has:
* Prior administrative experience
* Demonstrated experience within a large and complex environment
* Effective communication skills
* 1-2 years HR experience will be a bonus
