Pellet Fires Tasmania is a rapidly expanding, Tasmanian-owned company seeking motivated individuals to join our statewide customer technical service team. Comprehensive training will be provided to enhance your existing skills. These positions will be based at the Hobart Service Centre, where you will work as part of a team servicing various domestic pellet heating equipment in customers' homes. Some statewide travel may be required.
- **Install pellet heaters and flue systems**:
- **Commission and program the heaters**:
- **Perform routine servicing in customers' homes**:
- **Address breakdowns and warranty issues**:
- **Conduct fault finding and repairs**:
- **Complete job sheets**:
- **Communicate with customers and the head office**:
- **Operate with mínimal supervision**:
- **Oversee trainees as needed**
**Key Skills and Experience Required**
- **Valid Driver's License**:
- **Capability to work independently with mínimal supervision**:
- **Proven customer service abilities**:
- **Eagerness to acquire new technical skills**
**Preferred Qualifications or Experience**
- **Background in working with electro-mechanical equipment**:
- **Trade-level experience or comparable hands-on skill set**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00 - $39.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
