About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Architect to join our APAC consulting team.
In this role, you will work directly with enterprise customers to drive strategic impact, improve operational maturity, and enable adoption of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) and related technologies.
You will partner with clients to assess their IT ecosystems, design optimised roadmaps, and deliver measurable business outcomes through people, process, and technology transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliverIT transformation engagementsfocused on VMware-based private and hybrid cloud environments.
Assess customer environments across strategy, operations, architecture, and service management to identifygaps and improvement opportunities.
Develop and presentroadmaps, recommendations, and business casesto executive stakeholders.
Driveoperational optimisationacross capacity, cost, performance, and workload provisioning.
Lead initiatives onautomation, tool consolidation, process redesign, and operating model enhancements.
Partner with customer executives to ensure alignment between IT outcomes andbusiness priorities.
DefineKPIs and success measuresto track benefits realisation and adoption progress.
Act as a trusted advisor by providing thought leadership in IT strategy, cloud adoption, DevSecOps, and service management.
Skills & Experience
Extensive experiencewith VMware solutions (architecture, design, and operations).
Strong competency in at leastfour technology domains, such as:
High Availability & Disaster Recovery
Containerisation & Automation
Storage, Networking & Security
Monitoring & Reporting
Broad experience acrossIT strategy, architecture, engineering, and operations.
Proven track record inleading IT transformation programsandexecutive stakeholder engagement.
Demonstrated leadership roles (practice lead, architecture lead, program lead, or operations lead).
Strongpresentation and client-facing consulting skills.
Qualifications
Mandatory:
VMware certifications (VCP-VCF Architect, VCP-Admin, VCAP-VCF Architect).
Australian Government Security Clearance –NV1.
TOGAF, ITIL, or IT4IT certifications.
