Locksmith Apprentice Role
As a Locksmith Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in various locksmithing services. This role offers the opportunity to develop technical skills and work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
* Learn and master the use of hand and power tools, including lock picking and key cutting.
* Gain practical experience in entry and repair of doors and locks, ensuring high-quality results.
* Install smart locks and access control systems for enhanced security.
* Sell locks, safes, and hardware through our retail store.
In this 3-year on-the-job training program at TAFE, you will refine your skills and knowledge. Our experienced professionals will guide you every step of the way.
Requirements:
* Honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness are essential qualities for this role.
* A police check is preferred but not mandatory.
* You should enjoy technical work and be able to cope with physical demands.
* Verbal and written communication skills are also crucial.
* Good vision and hearing are necessary for safe working practices.
Year 10 completion is required for this position, and we offer an immediate start.
