Details: The Recruitment and Information Services team is seeking to fill the position of Director, Recruitment and Information Services.

This is a unique and exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to combine a strong understanding of legislative employment frameworks with a passion for delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes across the ACT Public Service (ACTPS).

As a key leader within the Office of Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy (OIRWS), you will lead change and manage a multidisciplinary team to deliver a seamless end-to-end recruitment experience for both applicants and hiring areas across all classifications of government.

You will provide strategic direction and expert advice on public sector employment frameworks, lead workforce governance and recruitment initiatives, and build strong relationships across Government to support workforce capability and service delivery.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience managing within a customer-facing human resources environment, along with the ability to interpret and operationalise legislation, particularly in relation to executive engagement and merit-based recruitment.

Notes: This is a temporary position available for a period of three months, with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency. A merit pool will be established from this selection process and may be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
