Your new role
As the Asset Inspector Officer, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of council assets, ensuring compliance with security standards, and maintaining accurate asset data. You will play a key role in identifying risks, reporting on asset conditions, and supporting strategic planning for infrastructure resilience.
What you'll need to succeed
* Qualifications in civil engineering, asset management, or a related discipline
* Proven experience in asset inspection, condition assessment, and compliance monitoring
* Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycles and maintenance strategies
* Familiarity with NAMS and IIMM frameworks
* High level of digital proficiency, including the use of mobile inspection tools and asset management platforms
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
* Current NSW Class C Driving Licence
