We are seeking an On-Site IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician to handle casual, freelance-based tasks in your local area. Are you open to contractual assignments? Payment will be based on either hourly, half-day, or full-day rates. Tasks will be assigned according to your location and availability (weekdays or weekends).
The work involves L1 & L2 IT/Networking support, including desktop troubleshooting, server/rack component (e.g., hard drive) installation and replacement. You'll also assist remote teams by providing on-site support (console access to routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
Base Skill Set:
Experience in Desktop Support, Customer Service, Incident/Change/Release Management, and supporting third-party apps on Windows OS
Certified in IT Infrastructure Library & Windows Server Administration, with practical use of scripting and automation techniques
Good understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, wireless LAN issues, Ethernet setups, and subnetting
Troubleshooting experience with various OS platforms – iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices.
