The opportunity
The firm is seeking a talented and dynamic Lawyer or Associate who has good experience or a strong interest in high level general commercial work including intellectual property, IT, and franchising to join their rapidly growing practice.
The successful lawyer will have 2-4 PAE and will play a pivotal role in providing expert legal advice and strategic guidance to their diverse and high-calibre clientele.
About the role
As a key player in a friendly and positive team you will have the opportunity to:
- Provide comprehensive legal advice and solutions to commercial clients on a broad range of contracts and deals
- Negotiate and draft intellectual property and technology agreements, including commercialisation, research, royalty and licensing agreements, and website/software/application terms and conditions.
- Dealer Agreements (automotive industry) and related documents (policies, manuals, franchising code documentation)
- Advice on Franchising Code compliance matters
- IT / Tech Agreements, Terms and Conditions for marketplace platforms
- Consumer law advice

- Ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to clients and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
