About the Role
This Special Counsel position sits within a high-performing Corporate team advising on complex transactions, joint ventures, and strategic projects across mining, oil & gas, renewables, and infrastructure. You’ll lead major deals, mentor junior lawyers, and play a key role in client relationship development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage high-value M&A; transactions and corporate advisory matters.
- Advise clients on joint ventures, project structuring, and regulatory frameworks.
- Collaborate with partners on strategic growth initiatives in the energy/resources sector.
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team.
About You
- 8+ years’ PQE in corporate law, ideally with Special Counsel or senior Senior Associate experience.
- Robust track record in M&A;, particularly within energy, resources, or infrastructure.
- Commercial acumen and ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Interest in contributing to thought leadership and business development.
