As our operations continue to grow, we are expanding our procurement function to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of equipment, materials, and services for our workforce and operations.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to support our growing haulage and maintenance operations. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing activities, ensuring timely supply of materials and services, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors to support operational efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Manage the full procurement cycle including RFQs, purchase orders, and delivery tracking
* Source and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best value outcomes
* Maintain and update supplier registers and pricing agreements
* Ensure all purchasing complies with company policies and approval processes
* Monitor stock levels and coordinate with warehouse and site teams
* Expedite urgent orders to minimise operational downtime
* Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and accounts
* Prepare procurement reports and cost analysis for management
ABOUT YOU
* Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within mining, transport, or heavy industry
* Strong mechanical parts knowledge relevant to heavy diesel equipment and trucks
* Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain principles
* Experience using purchasing systems
* High level of attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong communication and negotiation skills
* Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
* Experience with fleet, parts, PPE, or maintenance procurement
* Knowledge of mining site requirements and vendor compliance
