Hunter & Barrel is opening a new location in Adelaide this October, and we are seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Kitchen Manager/Sous Chef to join our team.
This is a full-time salaried position, with training starting immediately at The Meat & Wine Co Adelaide.
As Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure the smooth daily operation of the kitchen. Your responsibilities will include maintaining quality and consistency during service, supervising team members, coordinating prep work, and upholding food safety standards.

We are looking for:
* At least 2 years of kitchen management experience in a high-volume environment
* A passion for food, people, and hospitality
* Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
* Experience cooking over flames or on a char grill
* Leadership and team development skills
* Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
* Initiative and independence, with the ability to foster teamwork
* Excellent presentation, organizational, and communication skills
* Knowledge of OH&S/WH&S standards
* Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster
