About the Opportunity
RACV is currently seeking an experienced, proactive and energetic individual with a can‑do attitude to join our Kitchen brigade on a full time basis.
In the role, you'll report to the Executive Chef while being supported by senior members of our kitchen brigade. You'll display a passion for all things food and cooking related with a flair for creating dishes made from local ingredients. The role will allow you to work across our restaurant, bar, conference & events and room service.
As a Demi Chef you'll be responsible for assisting in the effective operation of the kitchen across a variety of sections. You'll be working within a highly dedicated team focused on quality and consistency.
You'll be rostered to meet the peak and flow of business demands, shifts will vary across a 7‑day rotating roster including evenings, weekends and public holidays.

What you'll need to be successful
* Commercial Cookery Qualification – Cert III or IV
* A passion for locally sourced and seasonal produce
* A desire to develop among a driven & professional team
* Ability to work autonomously on a section or within a fast‑paced team
