We're looking for a builder. Someone who sees a messy manual process and thinks \"I could automate that in an afternoon.\" Someone who's already playing with Claude Code, shipping small web tools, and genuinely enjoys the craft of making things run better.
You'll sit inside our marketing department and be the person who turns ideas into working systems, front-end builds, backend logic, automations, CRM connectivity, analytics dashboards, A/B tests. The remit is broad on purpose.
About the role
We're a growing business with a capable in-house marketing department that ships a lot. The team has built internal web tools, automated operational workflows, weekly performance reports for the executive team, and AI-driven content systems and there's a backlog of ideas we haven't had the right person to build.
This role is for someone who wants real ownership of the tooling and automation side of a modern marketing function. You'd work alongside specialists across digital and traditional channels, reporting into the Marketing Director.
Your Day-to-Day
* Build and maintain internal tools: think lightweight web apps (HTML/JS, Netlify-style deploys), dashboards, lookup tools, and AI-powered workflows using Claude Code and similar
* Design and ship automations across Zapier, Make, and native CRM integrations cutting manual work out of marketing, sales ops, and administration
* Work inside our CRM and reporting stack to improve data quality, insights, and segmentation
* Run split tests and conversion rate optimisation experiments across landing pages, forms, and funnels, then actually analyse the results
* Build and refine front-end pages (landing pages, microsites, internal tools) and wire them into our backend and CRM
* Collaborate with the wider marketing department on cross-channel initiatives
* Spot the 80/20, the repetitive manual task everyone's been doing for six months, and automate it
What we're after
We care more about what you've built than how long you've been building. If you can point to real work, we want to hear from you.
You should be genuinely capable across most of these:
* AI tooling — Claude Code, ChatGPT, prompt engineering, API integrations
* Web development — HTML/CSS/JS, at least one modern framework, comfortable across front and back end
* Automation platforms — Zapier, Make, or equivalent
* CRM platforms — confident building inside and around them
* Analytics and experimentation: GA4, Looker Studio, split-testing tools, CRO fundamentals
And you should be the kind of person who:
* Loves a hard problem and gets restless without one
* Thrives inside a team, shares work, asks good questions, takes feedback without flinching
* Can translate between marketers, developers, and operational staff
* Ships pragmatically \"done and working\" beats \"architecturally perfect\"
* Is naturally curious about the commercial side, not just the tech
