To continue their growth and expansion, the company is looking for a proactive and motivated Business Development Manager to join their vibrant and friendly team based in Melbourne. Reporting to the Exhibition Director, the Business Development Manager is responsible for the successful commercial delivery and year on year growth of a portfolio of industry-leading trade exhibitions. Areas of Responsibility The Business Development Manager will be responsible for selling exhibition space and sponsorship to existing, lapsed and new accounts across the portfolio. The tools and resources to succeed will be provided but how to leverage them is up to the individual. Success in this role requires not only strong sales skills but also a deep understanding of customers' needs and market trends.
Whether through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, strategic emails, or creative marketing approaches, the Business Development Manager will have the autonomy to drive results in their own way while proactively sourcing new customers, building strong relationships with existing ones, and delivering results as part of a targeted customer marketing strategy.
