Electrician - Agriculture (Drive in - Drive Out)
Are you an A-Grade Electrician who loves variety, problem-solving, and working outdoors? We’re looking for a skilled Electrician – Agriculture to join our growing team, servicing clients across Northern Victoria & Southern NSW.
This isn’t just another electrical job — you’ll be working with cutting-edge Systems that keep Australia’s agriculture industry running. From pump stations to pivots, PLC panels to GPS alignment, your skills will help power farming operations across the region.
With a Drive In, Drive Out (DIDO) option available, this role offers flexibility for those living outside Cobram who want steady, permanent work without relocating.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Install and maintain 3-phase and single-phase systems for Valley Pivot & Linear irrigators
- Diagnose and repair motor control wiring (Soft Starters, DOL, VSDs)
- Troubleshoot PLC-based control panels (Valley ICON/Pro, GPS systems)
- Inspect, test, and ensure all electrical systems meet safety and compliance standards
- Collaborate with our Service Coordinator to plan and deliver great outcomes
- Support farmers by keeping their systems reliable, safe, and efficient
About You
- Current A-Grade Electrical Licence
- Strong knowledge of control circuits, motors, and pump systems
- Mechanical aptitude (gearboxes, bearings, couplings)
- Can work independently and as part of a close-knit team
- Experience with other irrigation brands (Zimmatic, Reinke, Bauer) is a bonus
- Open to Drive In, Drive Out work arrangements
