About the role:
As our Events Officer, you'll be at the heart of the action—supporting the development, coordination, and promotion of iconic events and community celebrations. From liaising with stakeholders and assessing event applications to coordinating logistics and keeping our events calendar humming, you'll play a key role in making Busselton buzz.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Coordinating event applications and approvals.
* Supporting the Events Coordinator with admin and planning.
* Liaising with event organisers, stakeholders, and the community.
* Helping ensure events are safe, successful and compliant.
* Managing promotional channels and event calendars.
* Assisting in the administration of the City's Event Sponsorship Program.
What You'll Bring:
* Experience in event coordination or compliance.
* Top-notch communication and customer service skills.
* A knack for problem-solving and working independently.
* Strong admin and tech skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* A collaborative spirit and love for teamwork.
Pre-employment requirements:
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
* Current C Class Driver's Licence.
* Pre-employment medical screening (City-funded).
