We're now looking for an experienced Air‐Conditioning Service Coordinator to lead and grow our Aftercare Department and manage our team of service technicians.
About the Role
As our Service Coordinator, you will take ownership of the Aftercare Department, overseeing service technicians, coordinating workflow, building technician partnerships, and ensuring the department operates efficiently and profitably.
You will play a key role in strengthening our service capability by:
* Sourcing and onboarding quality service technicians to partner with Ambience Air
* Building a reliable subcontractor network
* Managing and mentoring internal technicians
* Building and maintaining stock levels of frequently used parts and components
You will have the autonomy to shape the department, with clear performance expectations and rewards aligned to results.
This position is based at our Bibra Lake Office.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the Aftercare Department, ensuring exceptional customer experience
* Manage, mentor, and support internal and external service technicians
* Oversee scheduling, workflow prioritisation, and job allocation
* Drive performance through KPI monitoring, service quality, response times, and performance metrics
* Source, onboard, and maintain relationships with qualified service technicians to partner with Ambience Air
* Build and manage a reliable network of subcontract service providers
* Develop and maintain inventory of frequently used parts and service components
* Implement systems to ensure critical parts are stocked and readily available
* Work closely with suppliers to ensure efficient procurement and supply chain management
* Ensure compliance with safety standards, warranty processes, and industry regulations
* Provide monthly reporting and strategic recommendations to management to improve service efficiency and profitability
What We're Looking For
* Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage both employees and subcontract partners
* Background in HVAC / Air-Conditioning
* Experience building and managing service networks
* Organised, systems-driven and process-focused with stock control experience
* Customer-focused with excellent problem-solving ability
* Commercially minded with a drive for operational efficiency and cost control
* Experience using service management systems advantageous
* Solutions-oriented and accountable
