Island Market and Canteen are seeking passionate and experienced Casual Duty Managers to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant/café operations during shifts, ensuring a smooth and seamless guest experience.
Manage, support, and motivate staff in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Manage opening and closing procedures, including end-of-day reconciliation and cash handling.
Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues professionally and confidently.
Maintain high standards of service, presentation, and team performance.
About You
Previous experience in a Supervisor or Duty Manager role, ideally within cafés, or restaurants.
Strong leadership and multitasking skills with a positive, can-do attitude.
Available to work evenings, weekends, school holidays, and public holidays as required.
Reliable, trustworthy, and confident leading a team.
Ambitious and motivated to grow your career within a supportive and expanding company.
RSA and Approved Manager certification required for Island Market.
