Pearson VUE offers a great environment to start or grow your career. We are now hiring a Casual Test Administrator to join our team at our 333 Adelaide Street, Brisbane location.
Our ideal candidate demonstrates teamwork and has availability to work a variety of shifts across weekdays (Monday to Friday) and weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Our operating hours are between 7am and 11pm.
We offer an attractive pay rate of $ per hour. Candidate must be flexible to work a range of morning and evening shifts. This is strictly a Casual position and will remain as such.
As a Test Administrator you'll be responsible for:
Providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a secure exam delivery environment
Complying with all testing procedures and strictly adhering to company policies
Checking and verifying candidates' identification against test registration and assisting them in setting up for the test
Explaining the exam procedures and proctoring / invigilating candidates during testing
Troubleshooting with internal departments to fix any technical issues
Escalating any policy breaches immediately to the relevant business personnel
Completing light housekeeping duties, such as vacuuming the floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate has finished their examination
Performing other ad-hoc duties as directed
To be successful in the position you'll have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Preferably, a minimum of 1-year customer service experience
Highly desirable experience in proctoring or invigilating exams
Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
The ability to sit for long periods of time and to bend and lift up to 10 kilograms independently
Comfort in a quiet testing environment, with the ability to hear soft voices and see details from a distance
