Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from supplier selection to delivery and quality assurance.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare competitive pricing documents and negotiate with suppliers.
* Monitor commodity prices, technological developments, and business trends.
* Investigate potential suppliers for the supply of direct parts and repair services.
* Identify and address shortfalls in the supplier base to support commodity requirements.
* Expedite quotes and orders from suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality achievement.
* Evaluate and award quotations received from suppliers to ensure corporate requirements are met.
* Manage supplier performance and drive resolution where required.
* Develop and manage contracts for indirect, production, and aftermarket products or services.
* Implement and enforce procurement planning metrics across all phases of the procurement lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have a proven track record in procurement management, excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of procurement software and systems.
* Experience with contract management and negotiation.
