Procurement Manager Role Overview
This is a challenging opportunity to lead the procurement function and drive value delivery across mining and associated services.
* Main Responsibilities: Develop and manage contracts related to mining and associated services, leading rate, pricing, quotation, and payment term negotiations.
* Implement category management and sourcing plans aligned with business needs, conduct spend analysis, and establish/maintain outline agreements in SAP.
* Collaborate with Buyers and fellow Category Managers to optimize procurement outcomes, oversee contract performance, compliance, and dispute resolution ensuring value delivery (e.g., benchmarking).
* Provide procurement advice and support to operational and management stakeholders, maintain strong supplier and contractor relationships to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency.
About You
* Key Requirements: Commitment to safety, governance, and continuous improvement, 3–5 years' procurement experience ideally in the mining or manufacturing industry.
* Strong commercial acumen with proven negotiation and contract management experience, proficiency in SAP (particularly spend analysis, outline agreements, and payment terms) and Microsoft Office.
* Training or qualifications in CIPS preferred, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
