Permanent Full Time

$108,542 – $128,724 salary package - includes base salary ($95,630 – $113,411), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

We're seeking world-class educators to inspire the next generation of Automotive Light Vehicle students This is a permanent full-time opportunity based at Bathurst Campus.

As a TAFE NSW Teacher, you will guide and enhance student learning by delivering hands‑on, practical training. Our Automotive teaching section focuses on providing high quality, industry relevant training, delivered to a wide range of learners, including school students, apprentices and those pursuing post trade qualifications. Share your skills and passion for your industry, help students build the skills, qualifications, and employability to support their career goals.

About You

To be successful in the role, you will:

* Hold appropriate subject knowledge and skills, and at minimum hold a Certificate III in Automotive Light Vehicle or equivalent.

* Have a minimum of three years post-qualification industry experience relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously.

* Hold evidence of the required teaching qualification to deliver Vocational Education and Training (VET). See the candidate support document here for details.

* Be prepared to develop and maintain your VET knowledge and skills as well as your industry currency, and trainer/assessor competence.
