Job Description
* Own regulated products through to real‐world market release
* High technical autonomy in a delivery‐focused environment
* Design and deliver embedded software from concept to market
* Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions, ensuring compliance with IEC 62304, ISO 13485, and internal quality processes.
* Write, review, and maintain production‐grade C and C++ code
* Take ownership of software delivery and execution
* Integrate software using SOUP components and APIs
* Work closely with R&D, manufacturing, and testing teams
* Support engineers through collaboration and technical guidance
* Improve development pace and delivery reliability
* Contribute to FDA approval milestones and documentation
The Successful Applicant
* 10+ years software engineering experience
* Strong hands‐on C and C++ expertise
* Track record of delivering products end‐to‐end
* SOUP experience including APIs and safe operating systems
* Experience in regulated environments
* Background in medical devices, aviation, or defence
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Comfortable working in fast‐paced delivery settings
