Requirements:
* Current AHPRA registration or eligibility to register.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
* Diploma in Nursing (or equivalent). For internationally qualified nurses, qualifications will be assessed for equivalency to Australian standards.
* Strong clinical assessment skills and experience in patient care.
* Proficiency in administering medications, wound care, and patient monitoring.
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
* English language proficiency as per AHPRA requirements (e.g., IELTS, OET, PTE Academic).
* Registered with SANC (South African Nursing Council).
* Willing and able to relocate to Australia.
Documents Required for Immigration:
* Valid Passport.
* Diploma in Nursing, including full transcript, with English as the primary language of instruction.
* Official document showing clinical hours completed during tertiary education.
* SANC certificate and proof of renewal.
* Proof of English proficiency, demonstrating English as the main language of instruction in high school, tertiary education, and at the current workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
* Assist with patient monitoring, wound care, medication administration, and daily activities.
* Observe, record, and report changes in patient conditions to the healthcare team.
* Support patients and families by providing education and emotional support.
* Maintain infection control standards and adhere to hospital policies.
* Assist with clinical procedures, including dressing changes, catheter care, and vital signs monitoring.
* Ensure accurate and legally compliant patient documentation.
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centred care.
Notwithstanding the Employee's job description, the Employer may require the Employee, from time to time, to carry out tasks not covered in the job description without additional remuneration.
