AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a leading ICT Consultant at the Associate Director position to join our Consulting and Technology practice in Melbourne. The role suits a capable leader of both people and projects, responsible for leading ICT projects, technology advisory, and contributing to iconic buildings and broader sectors.
Responsibilities
* Support the regional and national ICT consulting team on diverse opportunities and projects
* Manage project stakeholder engagement, technology road‐mapping, briefing and sign‐off
* Lead business development opportunities and tenders
* Lead and mentor junior members of the ICT team
* Drive quality assurance and a positive business culture
* Inform business growth initiatives and strategic pursuits
* Undertake design related activities across systems: systems architecture, interoperability and deployment planning
* ICT design (cloud, identity and access management, server and storage, integrated networking, Wi‐Fi, endpoint devices, structured cabling)
* Security systems (CCTV, electronic access control, intruder alarm, perimeter intrusion detection, Type 1A security alarm)
* Clinical and non‐clinical healthcare applications (nurse call, point of care, patient entertainment, facility messaging, wireless handsets, mobile duress, RTLS, patient systems)
* Oversight of audio‐visual systems (IPTV, video and telepresence environments, collaboration systems, PAVA, digital signage)
* Proactively identify improvement opportunities and partner with internal and external clients and stakeholders
* Participate in site investigations and use strong report writing and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
* Demonstrated experience in a lead technology capacity for large‐scale multi‐disciplinary projects
* Hold or eligible to obtain RPEV qualifications, Security Licence and defence clearance
* Specialist certifications such as CPEng, NER, CISSP, CTS are favourable
* Proven ability to coordinate and liaise effectively with clients and contractors, and experience of construction‐phase assistance and inspections
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Consultative approach with ability to work with technical engineers and non‐technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
* Further education in an ICT related field
* Prior experience or understanding of Bluebeam, Revit, Visio and AutoCAD
