Are you eager to join a dynamic team in Wealth Advisory?

William Buck, more than advisors: We understand that exceptional advice comes from passionate people who thrive in an environment where they feel empowered to shape outcomes. Description of the role: We're seeking an Assistant Advisor to join our Wealth Advisory team. In this role, you'll guide individuals towards securing their financial futures. By offering tailored strategies, you'll help clients achieve their investment, retirement, and wealth management goals while making a meaningful impact on their lives.

What makes you 'just right':

* A degree in Commerce, Economics, or a similar discipline (preferred)
* 1-2+ years' experience in financial planning/advice, superannuation consulting, technical roles, or accounting (preferable)
* A desire to invest in themselves as much as we will invest in them
* Exceptional client service focus and excellent communication skills
* Strong lateral thinking and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, and analytical tools
* Personable, good fun, and eager to build a career with us

What your day might look like:

* Participating in client meetings and contributing to discussions
* Leading client relationships alongside a Senior Advisor
* Collaborating with Partners/Senior Advisors to develop complex strategy advice documents
* Conducting investment analysis and portfolio management
* Researching and developing financial strategies across wealth accumulation, investment, debt management, estate planning, tax minimisation, and asset protection
* Preparing client review documents and implementing recommendations
* Addressing client queries and liaising with other professionals for optimal outcomes

What makes us 'just right':

* Clear career pathway to Advisor with educational support
* Professional year support
* Collegiate, client-centric advice culture – not sales-focused
* Opportunities to work with UHNW families, business owners, executives, and institutional investors
* Proven track record of developing talented individuals into high-quality Advisors
* Extensive in-house training on investments, tax, structures, asset protection, and soft skills
* Comprehensive wealth management services including tax minimisation, superannuation (including SMSF), debt management, and asset protection
* Hybrid working arrangements – 2 days from home
* Salary Continuance Insurance for all employees
* Access to an in-house psychologist for personal and professional coaching
* Bi-monthly colleague lunches, dress-for-your-day policy, leadership development programs, and primary carer return-to-work incentives
