About the Role
This is your opportunity to join a leading cardiac service in South Australia at an exciting time of growth. With the opening of our new Cardiac Outpatient Clinic at Modbury Hospital in March 2026, you'll be part of a team expanding access to world‑class cardiac care for the northern Adelaide community.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert care to cardiac inpatients and outpatients, with a focus on invasive interventions such as cardiac catheterisation, coronary assessment, and structural heart procedures.
* Lead and shape cardiology systems and models of care within NALHN.
* Engage in teaching programmes for undergraduates and postgraduates, and contribute to research initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver best‑practice clinical services.
Qualifications and Experience
* Passion and highly skilled Interventional Cardiologist with demonstrated expertise in percutaneous coronary investigation and interventions.
* Demonstrated clinical excellence, leadership, and commitment to innovation.
* Hold specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
* Eligibility for membership with the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
* Possess Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
