We're looking for an experienced Senior Technician to join our Brisbane Service Centre as a Technical Team Lead. This is a hands‐on leadership role where you'll lead a small team while continuing to work on complex technical repairs and diagnostics.
You'll be the go‐to technical expert in the Service Centre, responsible for advanced repairs, refurbishment programs, and ensuring work meets quality, safety, and compliance standards. This is a perfect role for a technician ready to step into leadership without leaving the workshop.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of Service Centre Technicians
* Solve complex technical problems and act as the primary technical escalation point
* Perform advanced diagnostics, board‐level fault finding, and repairs
* Test, calibrate, and commission repaired equipment
* Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate service records in SAP/CRM systems
About You
You're a Senior Technician with strong board‐level repair skills, a passion for mentoring, and the ability to lead by example. You enjoy solving technical challenges and supporting your team.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* Certificate III in Electronics and Communications
* Hazardous Areas accreditation (UEE42620/UEE42622 or equivalent)
* Restricted Electrical Licence
* 3+ years' experience in electronics, RF, or service centre environment
* Eligible to act as Qualified Technical Person (QTP)
* Strong diagnostic and repair skills with test equipment
* Team leadership or mentoring experience
