Randstad is hiring skilled Diesel Fitters / Diesel Mechanics to join a small, professional team at our client's Tullamarine workshop consisting of about 7 skilled techs .

You'll be part of a team of 7 specialists, focusing on detailed, high-quality maintenance: Workshop Focus: Servicing, fault-finding, breakdowns, and preventative maintenance, all done in-house at Tullamarine.
The Equipment: Working on industrial equipment, especially Diesel Generators and Air Compressors (experience here is a huge bonus).
Your Toolkit: Applying your strong skills across mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
The Goal: Installation, complex repairs, and ensuring maximum uptime for client equipment.
PAY HOURS: Predictable Stability This is what matters a consistent schedule with excellent compensation: Pay Rate: $***** to $***** per hour +Overtime + Super (based on your experience).
Roster: Straight Day Shift, Monday to Friday.
Hours: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Get your 38 hours done and have your evenings guaranteed.

What you would need.
You must be able to prove: A recognised Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy or Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology, or equivalent).
Genuine, hands-on experience with complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
A mindset for problem-solving and excellent attention to detail.
