About the role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cafe Manager to join the Five Sisters Group in Wangaratta, Victoria. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our popular cafe. As the Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of food and beverage quality, and leading a talented team of baristas and cafe staff.
What you'll be doing
* Developing and implementing strategies to drive sales, improve profitability, and enhance the overall customer experience
* Overseeing the cafe's operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting
* Providing hands-on leadership and coaching to the cafe team, ensuring they are motivated, trained, and deliver excellent service
* Maintaining strict quality control standards for all food and beverage items served in the cafe
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
* Collaborating with the wider business team to support the overall success of the Five Sisters Group
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a Cafe Manager or similar leadership role within the hospitality industry
* Demonstrated skills in financial management, staff supervision, and customer service
* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Thorough understanding of food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety regulations
