About the role
AVADA Traffic is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Manager to oversee our growing operations in the Northern NSW area. As the Regional Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of traffic management professionals and ensuring the successful delivery of our services to our valued clients. This is a full-time position based in or around the Tamworth Area of NSW.
Responsibilities
* Manage and oversee the performance of a team of Supervisors, traffic controllers, and support staff across Northern NSW
* Collaborate with the Southern and Metro Regional Managers to drive operational efficiencies across the region ensuring service delivery excellence.
* Liaise with clients to understand their requirements and ensure their satisfaction with our services.
* Manage budgets and resources to maximise profitability and productivity.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Northern NSW market.
* Working closely with the State Manager, you will be responsible for your regions performance against budget and agreed KPI's
* You will attract, and retain client lists, with a focus on expanding and developing business outreach.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
* Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that supports professional development and employee wellbeing.
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior management role within the construction or traffic management industry
* Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders.
* Strong financial management and budgeting skills
* Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a focus on team development.
* A deep understanding of traffic management regulations, safety protocols, and industry best practices, in particular TCAWS
* Ability to think strategically and identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Familiarity with the NSW market and existing industry relationships an advantage
* Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
* Strong organisational and time management skills ensuring operational activities remain on time and within budget.
* Critical Thinking and Problem-Solving Skills.
