Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Legal Assistant located in Ballarat, VIC. The Legal Assistant will support our legal team with tasks such as preparing legal documents, managing correspondence, and organizing case files. Additional responsibilities include assisting with scheduling, communicating effectively with clients, and handling administrative duties to ensure smooth office operations. The role involves working closely with solicitors in a dynamic and supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality legal services.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of legal principles and laws, with skills in legal document preparation
* Strong communication abilities for client and internal interactions
* Proficiency in administrative assistance to support organizational workflow
* Experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar support role
* Attention to detail and time management skills
* Ability to work on-site in Ballarat, VIC
* Familiarity with legal aid processes and regional court systems is a plus
* Diploma or formal qualification in Legal Studies or a related field is preferred
